Robert Ryan Langer started walking while men still walked on the Moon. As he learned to read, Asimov, Bradbury and Clarke formed his ABCs.
He studied physics at Michigan Technological University and astrophysics at the University of Arizona. After leaving academia he has since worked in the computer industry.
Robert resides in California, writing science fiction and fantasy stories. His short story Last Knight on the Way to Camelot, made the short list for the San Luis Obispo Night Writers 2001 Short Story Contest.
He has written one novel and several short stories. Currently, he is working on another novel, several stories and a proposal for a nonfiction book covering the history of the Hugo Awards.
He plans to live forever and see everything the future has to offer.
