When the Women Come Out to Dance Excerpt
“What if it looks like an accident and you say oh, they didn’t do nothing, he fell off his boat.”

Mrs. Harris about the inferno that destroyed one of her many multi-million dollar estates. These two colorful characters and the interaction between them is just the tip of the iceberg.

In the self-titled When the Women Come Out to Dance, former stripper Ginger Mahmood is unhappy in her marriage and scared for her life. She hires Lourdes, a maid from Columbia after she hears about Lourdes’ shady past. Together they devise a plan to get rid of Mr. Mahmood for good but the outcome leaves ginger a bit miffed.

Elmore Leonard fans will appreciate the special appearances of characters from Leonard’s previous novels like Karen Sisco from the bestseller Out Of Sight and Raylan Givens from Riding the Gap. With the stories ranging from less than ten pages to over fifty, each piece of fiction is just the right length to give readers what they want without too much detail or missing anything important.

Bookworm's Briefing
Many of the stories turn out to be quite the change of pace from Leonard’s usual good guy, bad guy theme and deal with more day to day relationships and interactions. Leonard’s talents continue to work their magic and keep the reader wanting more.

Elmore Leonard has written over three dozen novels many of which have gone on to the bestsellers list. He has also written numerous screen plays like Get Shorty, Out of Sight and Tishomingo Blue, just to name a few.
